Cosmos has undertaken the implementation of the Security Operation Center (SOC) for University of Cyprus.

Cosmos, in collaboration with its subsidiary CBS.LAN, has undertaken the implementation and provision of Security Operations Center (SOC) services for the University of Cyprus under a three-year contract worth €168,900.

The project involves the design, implementation, and operation of a modern SOC that will provide continuous (24x7x365) monitoring of the University’s IT systems, aiming to enhance cybersecurity and effectively manage threats.

As part of the contract, the scope includes:

  • Designing, installing, and configuring the necessary SOC equipment,
  • Providing software licenses for protection tools and SIEM systems,
  • Continuous monitoring, detection, and prevention of security incidents.

The project will be executed by specialized personnel from the Cosmos Group, leveraging their deep expertise and experience in cybersecurity.

This implementation marks a significant step in strengthening the digital protection of the University of Cyprus, ensuring the security of its IT infrastructure and, by extension, safeguarding its educational and research activities.
