CBS IT Systems Cyprus, a member of the Cosmos Group — one of the leading Information Technology Integrator in Greece and Cyprus — has undertaken and is implementing, following an international tender, a big project involving the leasing of laptops for the three Public Universities of Cyprus: the University of Cyprus (UCY), the Cyprus University of Technology (CUT) and the Open University of Cyprus (OUC).
The five-year project falls under the “Laptop-for-All” strategy and aims at the large-scale replacement of the universities’ existing technological equipment with modern laptops, enhancing the institutions’ digital readiness, efficiency, and operational uniformity.
Beyond supplying equipment, the contract also includes on-site configuration services and technical support throughout the leasing period, with the goal of reducing maintenance costs, optimizing the equipment lifecycle, and simplifying the retirement process of the devices.
